By using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. You may not use our website to engage in any illegal or harmful activities.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is protected by copyright laws. You may not use our content without our prior written consent.

Product Information

We make every effort to ensure that the product information on our website is accurate and up-to-date. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is error-free.
  • Governing Law and Jurisdiction Clauses

    The terms and conditions contained herein regarding the provision of services shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, and any dispute arising therefrom shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, India.
  • Quotation Terms

    1. Validity

       Quotations are valid for 90 days from the issuance date. After this period, KIWO reserves the right to amend or revise the terms and prices of the quote.
    2. Minimum Order Value

       The minimum order value to proceed with Kiwo services is ₹1.5 Lakhs Net (Modular).
    3. Discounts

       Discounts are capped at a maximum allowable limit. Any reduction in project value will proportionally decrease the applicable discount percentage
  • Service Overview

    KIWO Plywood Kitchens and Wardrobes provide the following services only:
    1. Design consultation with experts at KIWO Experience centers
    2. Manufacturing and fabricating Modular Kitchens, Wardrobes, and TV Units.
    3. Installation of Modular products at your site- apartment, villa, house, etc.,
    4. Exclusions: Additional Services: Floor guard and Deep cleaning services are not included in the standard offering and will incur additional charges upon request.
    Scope Limitations: Any items or services not explicitly mentioned in the quotation are excluded from the agreement.
  • Payment Term

    1. General Payment Conditions:

      All payments made at each stage of the project are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-redeemable under any circumstances. Your initial payment confirms your acceptance of KIWO’s terms and conditions and your consent to proceed with our services.
    2. Payment Procedure for Services (Modular):

      The finalized and approved quotation for KIWO will be considered as the total payable price. The price shall be payable upon reaching the following milestones:
      STAGE PAYMENT MILESTONE
      Order Book 10%
      Design Sign Off 40%
      Before Material Dispatch 50%

      Any payment delays will affect the project timeline.

    3. Project DeScope:

      In the event of a project scope reduction during the design phase, a 10% deduction of the total Order Book (Signup) value will apply. This amount covers site survey costs, design fees, and other associated overheads.
    4. Payment Methods:

      All payments shall be made via cheque, demand draft, or bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS). If payments fall below ₹10,000, cash payment mode will be accepted.
  • Design Stage Process

  • Design Signoff

    Upon final Design Signoff, no modifications can be accommodated as production phase will commence immediately. All drawings must be reviewed carefully and confirmed before sign-off. – Images shown in the Design signoff are only for reference. Please refer to the physical samples for actual Color/ Finish/ Size.
  • General Terms

    1. Every effort shall be made to supply goods to sample size and color. The images on our website/catalogs and our simulators are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly match the product itself or the color of any materials.
    2. All measurements shown on our website are approximate and KIWO cannot be held responsible for slight variations that may occur.
    3. Should any colors/Hardware/Material not be available, KIWO will notify the customer and the customer may choose an alternative from its then current range of products.
    4. In the event that the product ordered differs from the price of the replacement, an adjustment upwards or downwards of the price will be made and any adjustment will be payable or allowable (as the case may be) in the final payment.
    5. Choosing a different color/ hardware/ material will change the appearance and the feel of the design and therefore cannot be compared to the showroom website display.
    6. For fittings and installations, only KIWO trained professionals are assigned and therefore any indirect instructions for alteration or extension of work without the prior knowledge of KIWO would lead to violation of the contractual agreement. KIWO technicians have been trained not to take such instructions as per the policy.
  • Delivery & Installation

    1. Your Kitchens and Wardrobes will come with a 45-day delivery assurance from the date of first payment. Installation depends on the stage and fitness of the property along with several other allied factors as follows:
      • i. It is mandatory to give your final authorization including all specifications for the services to be carried out by the KIWO team.
      • ii. Payment will have to be made for the services opted for in accordance with the timelines stated below.
      • iii. Your site readiness will have to comply with the checklist as per ‘Annexure 1.’
      • iv. KIWO will abide by the 45-day delivery guarantee only if all of the conditions are met in full and all aspects. The 45-day guarantee will not be applicable if:
        1. The following are bought from third-party vendors other than KIWO:
          1. Hob/chimney supply or installation
          2. Electrical point shifting
        2. There is no work-timing restriction at your site in the afternoon.
        3. The property is not fully owned by you, and if temporary possession has been allowed by the builder/property owner.
        4. There are any concurrent works being carried out by a 3rd party contractor or engineer; this includes works like Painting, Wallpaper, Wooden Flooring, or Carpentry work at the time of installation.
        5. There are unforeseen hindrances such as continuous lack of power, non-working lifts, no authorization from the builder, etc.,
        6. A force majeure event occurs
        7. If any functional defects are found in panels, hardware, appliances, accessories, handles, and others, KIWO will ensure to carry out OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacements, which will be free of cost. The replacement will not fall under the 45-day guarantee.
        8. Deep scratches found on shutters after peeling off the protective liners and shade variation for the same color of shutter finish will be replaced by KIWO through OEM replacements.
        9. If the order component of the final quotation is equal to or greater than 15L, the 45-day guarantee will not apply due to the volume of work.
    2. All products and components mentioned, designed, supplied, and installed by KIWO authorized persons, once installed, cannot be removed without causing significant breakage or damage to the materials.
  • Warranty

    1. What Is Covered Under Warranty?

      1. KIWO will facilitate repair or replacement of products at its cost if any manufacturing defects in any of the products as enumerated below within the specified warranty periods following the date of delivery/installation. This certificate of warranty covers the following products:
        1. Panels made of 18 mm BWP Plywood–Lifetime*
        2. Shutters of all finishes and all materials – Lifetime*
        3. Accessories, hardware, and appliances as per the manufacturer’s warranty.
        4. 10-year warranty is provided, subject to the conditions outlined in the attached warranty policy. For full details, please refer to the enclosed document.
        5. No warranty on third-party works;warranty is applicable only on modular work.
    2. Terms of Warranty:

      1. KIWO warrants to you that all products will be free from any manufacturing defect and defect in installation workmanship.
      2. Warranty on kitchens only applicable if the countertop services are opted from KIWO.
      3. The warranty is only applicable if the products are well-maintained, and used for normal domestic use.
      4. In case of transfer/sale of the apartment to another party, the warranty will not be applicable
      5. The hardware, accessories, and appliances warranty period will be the same as offered by the original equipment manufacturer.
      6. If you notice any defect within the respective warranty period (as per Annexure 2 A & B) You must notify KIWO in writing within a period of 7 (seven) days therefrom and, upon confirmation of the defect by an authorized KIWO representative, KIWO’s sole responsibility shall be, as its option to either:
        1. Arrange for the repair of defective products; or
        2. Arrange a replacement for a defective product.
      7. If KIWO chooses to replace a product proved to be defective, KIWO shall, depending on availability, provide a replacement that is as close as possible in dimension, function, and color to the defective product. KIWO will not guarantee that the replacement will be exactly the same in all aspects when compared to the product being replaced.
      8. If a product is found defective, KIWO shall provide a suitable replacement that is as close as possible in dimension, function, and color to the defective product. KIWO will not guarantee that the replacement will be exactly the same in all aspects when compared to the product being replaced.
      9. If any person other than KIWO’s authorized representative installs, repairs, or alters the products without the prior consent of KIWO, this warranty is null and void.
  • Warranty Disclaimer:

    1. Warranty certificate sets forth KIWO’s sole warranty obligation with respect to the products and is in lieu of all other warranties oral or written, expressed or implied. KIWO makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the products and KIWO shall not be liable for incidental, special consequential, or other similar damages arising out of any breach of the warranty.
    2. KIWO’s warranty does not cover damages to products caused by any of the following:
      1. Wear and tear suffered through normal use (including scratches, dents and cuts) or damage caused by impacts or accidents.
      2. Rusting of channels, hinges, and other metallic parts. These could be damaged due to household chemicals and sprays and hence care to be taken while using such products around hardware and accessories.
      3. Water leakage and seepage within the building structure and continuous dampness of the surface will not be covered.
      4. Degradation, discoloration, damage, fading, etc., in color grain, or texture of natural wood materials, laminates, and other covering materials due to exposure to intensive or excessive light, sunlight, moisture or heat, or other environmental factors.
      5. Use of inappropriate chemicals, detergents, abrasives, or other inappropriate cleaning agents that can damage the wooden surface of the products or rust accessories
      6. Mistreatment, negligent use, misuse, insufficient or improper care (including but not limited to exposure to harsh weather conditions)
      7. Alterations modifications or use of products that is beyond or inconsistent with supplied product instructions and/or have not been authorized by KIWO.
      8. Damage or stains due to water leakage and/or seepage; or
      9. Damage caused by any force majeure event (such as flooding, hurricane, earthquake, lightning, etc.) environmental condition (such as air pollution, solvent exposure, mold, mildew, etc.), or staining from foreign substances (such as dirt, grease, oils, sprays, etc.,)
  • Post-sale services

    1. KIWO will provide one free service visit to the site to address routine services which cover moving parts like hinges, channels, etc. This service will address issues like minor alignment, loose parts, etc.,
    2. This free service is applicable and should be availed during the first 6 (six) months after the date of delivery/installation. Please call KIWO customer care to schedule a visit.
    3. KIWO’s assessment/inspection fee does not include the cost of materials or labor used for addressing such service and maintenance calls.
  • Warranty Limitation

    1. In no event will KIWO be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, howsoever arising, whether under contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such losses.
    2. KIWO’s maximum liability with respect to the products/services shall be limited to and shall not exceed the price actually paid by you to KIWO for the relevant products/services that give rise to the claim.
  • Force Majeure

    1. KIWO shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations hereunder due to force majeure conditions affecting KIWO, including but not limited to, breakdown or damage of KIWO’s machinery, shortage or non-availability of raw material components or consumables, strikes, lock-outs, war, riot, civil commotion, acts of God, or other causes beyond KIWO reasonable control, provided that it notifies you of such conditions as soon as reasonably practicable and uses its best efforts to resume performance. Should such conditions subsist for a continuous period of 15 (fifteen) days, KIWO may set up a discussion with you to discuss measures to mitigate the consequences of such conditions and agree upon alternative modes of effectuating the terms set forth herein.
    2. In the event of there being no suitable alternative mode of effectuating the terms thereof, this engagement may be terminated upon mutually acceptable terms.
  • Cancellation Terms

    1. Neither of us may terminate this agreement. However, KIWO may delay or cease to provide the services in case the price payable remains unpaid or is delayed; in which case, KIWO shall have no obligation to refund the amounts already paid by you.
    2. After agreeing to these terms and conditions, in case you seek to not avail of the services, you will forfeit all the amounts already paid by you to KIWO and also be liable to pay the balance of the price agreed to be paid to KIWO, as due compensation for the losses that will be suffered by KIWO in such an eventuality and not as a penalty.
  • Annexure 1: Site Readiness Check

    1. Has your apartment been completed in all major aspects by the builder and handed over to you? If not please ensure that your apartment/home is ready for us to commence our work.
    2. Please confirm that there is NO civil work pending from the builder’s side. Civil work can include Tile Laying, Painting, Plastering, Core Cutting, etc. KIWO crew will not work at the site if civil work is being carried out.
    3. Has the Core Cutting for the Chimney Duct been completed? If it is not, please ensure that the Core Cutting is done before materials get dispatched, as there is a chance of dust being generated.
    4. If the builder requires a security deposit, please ensure that this is paid to the builder’s maintenance team. If you are having false ceiling/painting /plumbing done by another vendor or builder, please ensure that this is completed and only then KIWO crew will arrive at the site. The KIWO team can’t work on a site where the above works are concurrently being done.
    5. One set of keys to the apartment has to be handed over to a KIWO representative before execution. We need access between 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM from Monday to Saturday. If we do not get clear 8 to 9 hours, we will not be able to complete the project within the guaranteed time.
    6. If the set of keys is with the builder’s representative, please ensure that you have communicated your order with KIWO and hand over the set of keys or provide clear access to the KIWO team.
    7. If a permission letter or an email is required from you to KIWO and the builder authorizing the KIWO team to be allowed, please ensure that this is completed beforehand.
    8. Please ensure that the apartment has secure access and that there are no valuables or appliances etc., in any of the rooms. We will not be responsible for any damages or lose/missing items from the site.
    9. Clean power should be available in all the rooms. If permanent power is not available, please request the building engineer to provide it temporarily to each of the rooms.
    10. Please ensure that we have permission to move our materials to the service or passenger lifts. If there is no lift available, there could be a delay in moving materials and any movement of materials by stairs above the 2nd floor will attract an additional charge.
  • Annexure 2(A)

    1. PRODUCT: Cabinets/Panels

      1. Warranty- Lifetime Warranty
      2. Remarks- BWP plywood Warranty covers against delamination, edge band peeling
      3. Exceptions- Damage to cabinets due to continuous seepage of water/dampness, etc., Damage due to misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, etc.,
    2. PRODUCT: Shutters

      1. Warranty- Lifetime Warranty
      2. Remarks- BWP plywood Warranty covers against delamination, edge band peeling
      3. Exceptions- Damage to cabinets due to continuous seepage of water/dampness, etc., Damage due to misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, etc.,
    3. PRODUCT: Countertops

      1. Warranty- Manufacturers’ Warranty
      2. Remarks- Silicone sealant warranty for 1 year
    4. PRODUCT: Electrical Appliances

      1. Warranty- Manufacturers’ Warranty
      2. Remarks- As per KIWO authorized dealer
      3. Exceptions- Labour, and cleaning of chimney will be charged extra Installation charges to be paid as per actuals on site.
    5. PRODUCT: Hettich Hardware & Accessories

      1. Warranty- Manufacturers’ Warranty
      2. Exceptions- Rusting of hinges and channels is NOT covered under warranty. Customers are advised not to use household cleaning agents, chemical sprays, etc., on the hinges.

Lifetime warranty as per industry standards is 10 years.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of our website or products. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms of Use at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. By using the website, you agree to any changes made to the Terms of Use.
